GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants seeking admission to Ambria College of Nursing must be graduates of a state-approved high school or have earned a General Education Degree (GED) equivalency. Students who graduated from a high school that is not state-approved must pass the GED. All applicants must attend an information session and a personal interview with an admissions representative for a tour of the campus and to get necessary information to make an informed decision regarding their nursing education.


GENERAL ADMISSION PROCEDURES

  1. Applicants must be 18 years or older at the time of enrollment.
  2. Submit a completed Ambria College of Nursing Application Form.
  3. Submit evidence of high school and college transcripts.
    a.) High school diploma, transcript, GED exam certificate, or signed attestation is required.
    b.) Official transcripts from all colleges attended if applicable.
    *Note: Foreign transcripts must be accompanied by a credential evaluation report (WES or ECE preferred).
  4. Submit reading placement test results.

General admission does not guarantee entrance into the Ambria nursing programs. Additional nursing program requirements must be met and a separate program application form must be submitted for consideration.
