Transfer of Credits

Please send your official transcript to transcripts@ambria.edu

Ambria College of Nursing accepts college credits from accredited institutions.

In order to be considered for transfer credit, general education courses must meet ALL of the following requirements:

  • Foreign transcripts must be accompanied by a course-by-course evaluation report from a member agency of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) or the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. (AICE)
  • Completed from an accredited institution
  • Course content must be comparable to Ambria course
  • Completed with a grade of C or higher

Equivalency

College Board Exams accepted in place of courses:

  • CLEP exam accepted with minimum scores of 50

Disclaimer:

Ambria College of Nursing does not have an articulation agreement with other institutions. Whether to accept credits earned at Ambria College of Nursing is the decision of the institution where the students wishes to transfer. It is the responsibility of an accepting institution to choose whether or not to accept credits earned at Ambria College of Nursing.

Students should verify whether another institution would accept credits earned at Ambria for transfer. If the accepting institution does not accept Ambria credits for transfer, the accepting institution may require the student to repeat some or all of its coursework.

Transcripts submitted for admission or credit transfer become the property of Ambria College of Nursing and cannot be returned to the student or forwarded to other institutions. Under federal regulations, students have the right to view documents in their file. However, schools are not required to provide (or allow the making of) copies of these documents.
